Intensive Care Unit
Our Intensive care Unit named as " Sanchit ICU" is run by group of well known doctors in the city. ICU started in 2006 has served to the patients. Sanchit ICU has proved itself as a boon to the patients in Wai, Khandala and Mahabaleshwar taluks. It is 9 beds unit, fully equipped with modern machinery and technology.
Being rural area, high level care was not available. Patients had to go to nearby cities like Pune, Satara, Karhad.Time and money was getting wasted. More important than this, was the precious life of the patient which was lost during the transport.
To overcome this, Sanchit ICU was started. And now we can proudly say that we have served the purpose and we will continue to do it.
Case of Myocardial infarcts, Burns, Severe pain, Head injury, Diabetes, Malaria, Dengue, Poisoning, etc are treated in the Sanchit ICU.
We are in the process of developing Neonatal Unit. We have two beds for Neonates at present. Various senior consultants from Pune, Satara visit to our hospital.
